Daily Hypnotic
You stand there like I should bow to your presence
My mind knows no other action but resistance
Your mouth moves at a furious pace
The sounds lashing out are intelligible, like from another race
Your arms flail around crossing through the light
Each pass sends a beam crashing into my eyes that is so bright
The loud decibel of your voice finds the rhythm of my blinking eyes
Hypnotizing my mind to a place that I seem to frequently visit
A place of days gone by and that have never existed
Falling into a clouded hillside with the sun warming my smile
With my eyes closed I can hear the sound of the wind caressing the grass
Blissful happiness fills my soul that I pray will never pass
A chill races throughout my body as the sun turns black
The wind stopped with a painful fire that spreads across my smile with a smack
The water of my tears streak down but cannot extinguish this fire
My head hangs low as I began to tire
It is then that I am brought back to your world of hate and despair
Please pull the trigger because I no longer care
